Edwin S. Hargett III

Dr. Edwin S. Hargett, III is a Georgia native. He is the only child of Ed and Christine Hargett. Being the only grandson he has always been known by the nickname "Buck", after his grandfather. Dr. Hargett was born in Columbus, Georgia and raised in the small country town of Pine Mountain, Georgia. At age 14 his family moved to Peachtree City, Georgia where he attended and later graduated from McIntosh High School.

While in high school, Dr. Hargett was tops in his class and served as captain of the football team. Dr. Hargett earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at the University of Georgia, Dr. Hargett was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society. Dr. Hargett realized his passion for dentistry while working as a dental assistant at the University of Georgia Dental Clinic. Immediately, after college Dr. Hargett went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where he earned his D.M.D. In his last year of dental school, Dr. Hargett underwent a special senior honors program internship in pediatric dentistry.

After graduation Dr. Hargett began practicing near Albany, Georgia before coming to work at Dental Associates of Warner Robins in November of 2005. "Buck" considers it an honor and privilege to be in such a delightful area surrounded by good people and the experience has been made even more pleasurable because of the associates with Dental Associates of Warner Robins.
